The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions will this year be commemorating the World Day for Decent Work under the adopted theme “Decent Work and the Crisis”. This is a befitting theme that resonates very well with our current political, social and economic environment.

As the national centre we will be coordinating with our six provincial offices for the effective commemoration of this day. Our activities will commence on the 14th of September 2009. We intend to have workplace based meetings in our provincial capitals. Due to the financial challenges we are facing workplace based meetings have proved to be very cost effective. These workplace based meetings will be done as a build up towards the main event on the 7th October 2009.
