On October 7 (World Day for Decent Work) Canadian Labour Congress Young Workers Working Group members with the help of Federation of Labour young workers will deliver statements to each provincial and territorial government addressing the need for ratification of the ILO core convention 138 and the need for minimum age laws across the country!

In Ottawa, Ontario CLC met with the Minister of Labour (Rona Ambrose) at 10 am EST, as well as the NDP labour critic (Chris Charlton) at 12 pm EST and delivered the statement.

The statement has also been delivered to the Bloc Quebecois labour critic (Luc Desnoyers) and Liberal labour critic (Maria Minna).
