The Decent Work Decent Life Campaign consists of the ITUC, ETUC, Solidar, World Solidarity and Global Progressive Forum. On 7 October, the World Day for Decent Work we will hand over our Call to Action for Decent Work Decent Life to several institutions all over the world.

DECENT WORK DECENT LIFE CAMAPAIGN ACTIVITIES IN EUROPE – European Parliament

The Decent Work Decent Life Campaign will organise 2 event in Brussels at the European Parliament:

1. The handover of the Call to Action Signatures to European Parliament Vice-President;

2. The Decent Work Game!

What:
10:00 – 10:30 Call to Action Signatures will be handed over to the European Parliament Vice- President Roberta Angelilli on October 7th and she will be asked to sign the Call on behalf of the European Parliament.

10.00-11.00 Decent Work game: Members of the European Parliament and representatives from NGOs will test their knowledge on what makes work decent and see if they can make it to the ultimate goal of having a decent life!

    The Call to Action Brussels Handover has been a success:

    1//We were received by the 1st European Parliament Vice President (Mr. Pittella, S&D) who signed the Call to Action for Decent Work underlining the need to use the Call to Action ‘as a manifesto for European Institutions enshrined in institutional documents’ such us Parliamentary Resolutions.

    2//We played the Decent Work Game with few MEPs
