Nepali Trade Union Movement has liste 3-fold action as the Decent Work agenda:
1. Campaign for establishment of Intergrated social Security Fund with December 09

2. Making labour legislation workable: we are linking up with amending existing lebour legislation, which aims to amend existing Labour Act, Trade Union Act and establishment of National Labour Commission as the quasi-judiciary organ. Introduction of Social Security Act is also a part of this campaign

3. Enshrine labour agends at New Constitution, which is aimed to declared by May 28, 2010

Based on this, together with other partners, particularly other ITUC affiliate in Nepal

GEFONT is:
-going to declare this 3-fold action on Oct 07

- developing a TV programme to be broadcasted every Mondey at 7:25 PM (at least 4 episods) defining DECENT WORK and its meaning for nepal

- aiming to orrganise a joint programme at Dec 10, on the occasssion of HR day

- collectivly translate WDDW campaign guide in Nepali language
